GOYGB CAMP 2007

Camp 2007 was wonderful! As you may remember, it rained and rained and rained this summer. We hoped that camp would still go ahead... but two days before camp was supposed to start, we realised that there was no way we would be able to hold camp on the site planne.d. It had turned into a mud swamp! So, suddenly, everything had to be rearranged and from no-where Fr John rescued camp! He offered us the opportunity to use the Church hall and vicarage garden of the Parish of the Nativity of the Mother of God! Many, many thanks to the Nankivell family and the Parish of the Nativity of the Mother of God, who so kindly and warmly hosted us - camp 2007 would not have happened without you! Thanks also to all the leaders who were amazing and tirelessly worked to set up and replan camp in a day so that it would be ready for all the children! And then did not stop until everything was packed away and the field was empty again after the children had left.

Through everyone;s prayers and thanks to God, the camp was a success!!

It was really a joyful time that we spent together, with so much fun and love! . Below are some memories and photos of some of the events from camp this year...
