The GOYGB (Greek Orthodox Youth of Great Britain) Summer Camp has been running since 1992, with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Gregorios of Thyateira, who traditionally makes a visit to the camp each year.

For one week, we live as a community (without electricity on campsite!), benefiting from plenty of fresh air, communal meals, prayer, lessons, activities, exercise, games, discussions, campfires, singing, and fellowship amongst the participants.

The camp is based in the beautiful countryside of Shropshire on our own field, bought by the Archdiocese in 2007.

We have invested in a building on the campsite, and once it is finished, there will be electricity! But we have managed very well without it all these years, thanks to God.  Please have a browse of our website for more information, or to view and fill out our participant application form, click here.
